I dropped the ball (wasn’t prepared) for #givingTuesday this year. There are no excuses though, I’ll start by spreading the word. Knowledge is power, and together we can definitely make a positive impact on the world!

What are you going to do to give back today?

I think it is a good idea to arrange special days to remind people of being kind to each other. For example, there is a special day to make moms happy – Mother’s Day. Giving Tuesday is a charity day. As for me, it is a pleasure to do something good for the people I really want to make happy, because I am sincere about it. On the contrary, when I was doing the task to speak with strangers about Giving Tuesday and give them candies, it was difficult to communicate with passers-by. Most people were tense, strained or busy. And this is not bad, I understand them. For me, it means that they are okay, they just don’t want any violation of their privacy. They don’t need any help or support right now or they are not ready to accept it from a stranger. Some days ago I was riding a bicycle, and a had a flat tyre. I was along in the darkness far away from my place with a broken bicycle, so I went to a nearest parking to find a pump. Some guy understood the situation, put my stuff in his car and drove me home. He told me that he was just taking care of his karma. =) Such helpfulness of people inspires me to continue this line of goodness. My conclusion is that one should make happy the people they really want to or somebody who really needs their compassion now. In this case a Giving Tuesday is just an occasion to remind yourself: “Hey, dude, don’t forget to improve the world around you”! And if you have postponed it until today, do it right now!

    My givingtuesday.
Today, I met two men on the street with my partner and we gave candies to them. When we gave the candies, we explained the meaning of givingtuesday.
When they heard the meaning they looked so happy.
After coming back to my home, I sent text mail to my friends who live in Korea. I gave good meaning of words and listened their saying.
I will try to do this more and more.
    Happy givingtuesday!!

The happiest moment in my life is when I give something for another one for the purpose of drawing a smile on his or her face. Today, I got a lot of happy moments when I wandered out in the streets with two of my friends, gave candy and smiles to people and made conversations with them about this special day which called Giving Tuesday. It was a nice experience which I hope to do it again and again. Let’s make all of our days Giving Tuesdays!

Hello everyone! Today, I went to the street with my partner in order to give back smiles, free hugs, comprimentos and chocolate. Also, I gave chocolate for some teachers and I said thank you for helping me to improve my English. That was a great experience because I could realize that simple actions can change the day of people, including my day. So, I recommend everyone give something back today.
    Until the next post!

I went to a parking lot with Alex. Alex always parks his car in this place. So Alex wants to give something a staff. We bought a cup of coffee, and gave to her. She was smiling.
I think giving to other people makes me happy. I want to give to people who I like something before going back to the Korea.
