I fell for Paulo a few years ago while working together in the land down under (Australia). It wasn’t long before I was head over heels. We spent a lot of time together and got along wonderfully. After traveling some parts of the world together I knew he was the one… And I’m pretty sure he knew I was the one because, one night while reminiscing about our journey together, he popped the question! The following year we got hitched, or in other words, we tied the knot !

How would you use these idioms in your own context? Are you head over heels? Have you already tied the knot? Practice below in the comment section.

I feel for Thiago six years ago while working together at a bank. We start dating then I realize that I was head over heels. We did a lot of trips together, shared dreams, go through good and bad moments and got along wonderfully. After this years I know that he is the one! I expect that someday he will pop the question and we will tie the knot, or in other words, we will get hitched.

Five years ago, I was on Head over heels with whom I met at matrimonial site. He too fell on me. We decided to meet each other, spend a lot of time together, enjoyed each other likings and taste. He said to me I was the one who he wanted tied knot with & same in my heart too. So we discussed with our parents and finally got hitched.
